Campaign story
Why this matters
When the county repeater network overloaded, community engineers jerry-rigged links from a redwood ridge. Radio Redwood follows the station’s founders, DJs, and listeners across two fire seasons.
The story
We need finishing funds for archival clearance (local news clips), aerials with licensed pilots, and a impact campaign with fire-safe home workshops. Partnerships are in place with two regional foundations; this campaign covers the independent editorial layer they cannot fund—travel, translation for Spanish broadcasts, and open captions for deaf audiences.
